COMPUTER APPLICATION

The principles of making three-dimensional computer drawings are covered in this course. Lectures and tutorial sessions, as well as small handouts, are provided to aid us in our learning process, which I found to be quite helpful. Because I am new to the software, this module allows me to experiment and traverse it with ease. In the first job, we were tasked with developing a Revit model that included architectural features such as roofs, walls, floors, curtain walls, doors, windows, stairs, and railings. We also learnt how to create family files, which will allow us to create one-of-a-kind elements for our building design. Aside from that, we learnt how to properly document our drawings using Revit documentation docs.

This programme makes me pleased because it gives me a full and informative introduction to digital software. For our second assignment, I learnt to use 3DSMax to render our models, which was really fun! It was first difficult for me, and I had to try numerous times before getting it right, but I'm delighted it eventually worked out. The Photoshop post-production step was my favourite since it was so satisfying to see the renders come to life.

I'd also like to thank Mr. Koh, my instructor, who has been quite helpful in assisting us and ensuring that we complete the lessons. When we've run into issues during the process, he's also offered us hints and advice. Overall, this module has given me a leg up on mastering computer software as I progress through architecture school.
